The reception to the models design, performance and price has been excellent! With key UK reviewers stating that the LS50 was ‘speaker of the show’!
“I never wanted any LS3/5A no matter how popular it was, but after I saw and heard the LS50 in Munich, I knew that I wanted a pair — so the moment I get back home, I’m getting on the phone to KEF.”

Loewe Connect ID
We’ve just gotten hold of the newest Loewe Brochure, and it gives some nice views of the new Loewe Connect ID TV.
Loewe Connect ID – Show your colours.
To those who love colour – strike a pose! The Loewe Connect ID is the first-ever TV with a distinct and colourful character. No other manufacturer is as consistent in approach as Loewe when it comes to colour.
The J-shaped lateral element flows down the back of the device, encasing a slim high-gloss frame of only 1.5 cm. Coloured fabric speaker grilles accentuate the audio capabilities. This is entirely unique in the TV world and a clear indication of unparalleled sound characteristics. This leaves clean lines including a rear panel with perfect and almost invisible cabling = 360° flawless design. As a whole, the Loewe Connect ID boasts something akin to a sculptural beauty in its composition. Its aesthetics are equally as pleasing from the back as they are from the front, meaning it can be positioned absolutely anywhere in the room you desire.
“ID” stands for individual design and, in turn, the creative freedom you have to adapt the Loewe Connect ID to your own personal interior style. A total of 12 variants can be derived from the different frame and signature colours – and in combination with the three screen sizes and the numerous set-up options – you’ll be sure to find just the right Loewe Connect ID for you.
The new Loewe Connect ID: let your personality shine.
Quad 12L Classic Gets Highly Commended by Hi-Fi News
Chalk one up for classic British design, the 12L Classic gets the “Highly Commended” seal of approval from Hi-Fi News.
We’ve had the 12L in store for a few month now and the sound it gives is massive for such a small box, and the review only confirms our suspicions that this speaker is rediculously good value for money.
The reviewer who was long favourite of the old 10L (build by Spendor) says.. “The 12L Classic does everything right… sound blindingly coherant at soft levels and behave well when hammered. Whats not to like?”
We couldn’t agree more. In stock now at www.divineaudio.co.uk £500
Philips 46PFL9706 LED TV gets 4 stars in the Sunday Times
The recently released Philips 9 Series LED TV’s is gaining acclaim in the press.
We’ve recently noticed a nice 4 star rating for the Philips, with the outstanding picture, colour and sharpness being of particular note. The only downside apparently being the price, but for a fully backlit LED panel which is incredibly thin, I think it’s fair.

New products from Arcam, the drDock and rPAC
Arcam are expanding the r range of products they’ve built up over the last few years with a new iPod dock and USB powered DAC.
The drDock is Arcams first digital iPod/iPhone dock, digital in the fact that it bypases the apple devices internal DAC to use the much improved DAC provided in the drDock. It has plenty of outputs such as Analogue RCA, digital Coax and HDMI video out! The most interesting feature I find in the new dock is the fact that I can dock my iPad into it.
iPad docks are a rarity, especially well made ones, so the new Dock from Arcam ticks all my iPod docks needs.
Due out by the end of Feb priced at £200
The rPAC is an asynchronous USB powered DAC and headphone amplifier with analogue outs at the back. If this sounds familier to you, it’s a very similar product to the NuForce Icon uDAC 2. The difference is that this is by Arcam, and we like british.
Actually the main difference is that this doesn’t have an independent volume knob on the front of the DAC, and I actually prefer this, I would rather control the volume on the computer than play around with the DAC, which I could hide away.
We’ll let you know how it sounds when we get it in, but at £150, sounds like a bargain. Out Feb.
